Connectors for welding machines and robots
IZAR makes riveted connectors, resistance welder parts and water-cooled cable terminals that carry high current while arms and robots keep moving.
Where it works
On the arm and at the cable
Connectors carry current from the welding transformer to the arms and electrodes, work inside welding robots and terminate water-cooled cables.
What it has to withstand
Continuous movement
Arm and robot move in every cycle. The connector flexes with them.
High current
Resistance welding needs high current. Good conductivity and a solid contact matter.
Wear
The contact works under pressure and in motion. Thicker plates reinforce it, and the stack can be protected on the outside with stainless steel strip.

Questions
Choosing the right connector
Which IZAR connectors are used in resistance welding machines?
Riveted connectors made of 0.1–0.3 mm copper strips. The strips are riveted under a press and the contact surfaces are reinforced with thicker plates, so the connector withstands the continuous movement of a welding arm or robot. They are made only to the customer’s drawing.
Does IZAR make terminals for water-cooled cables?
Yes, to the customer’s drawing and specification, in steel, copper, brass or aluminium. IZAR also makes resistance welder parts and high-current cables cooled by water or air.
Do you supply material certificates with the parts?
Yes, on request. IZAR supplies material certificates with all products when the customer asks for them.
Describe the installation point
Current, contact dimensions and the movement to absorb, or a drawing. Our sales team will pick the connection type and prepare a quote.
